Role Description

The Engine Room is soliciting applications for a half-time Project Manager. We are growing the projects and partnerships and we need someone to provide project management support. This person will work closely with our Associate for Project Management and project leads. Learn more about our current work at our website. 

Our ideal candidate is committed to our mission and is passionate about the work we do. We are looking for a team member who is able to form healthy and trusted relationships with our project leads and who is able to balance the need for task and logistics management with the project focus on outcomes/targets. This person needs to be adept at being the “glue” that holds things together as well as the “grease” that facilitates movement. They are also able to happily work in a place where project management doesn’t look or feel the same as it does in traditionally structured Global North NGOs but is instead structured to create healthy spaces for our teams to work and succeed in.

• Be able to balance working independently and collaboratively - both with confidence

• Be adept at managing competing priorities
